Yesterday while browsing through a antique/thrift shop’s book collection I found this gem for a buck.
All the Titles, Chapter & Section headers, and page numbers are set in Avant Garde. Reproduced on the cover is Kenneth Noland Transit 1965.
Looks like it has some good information in it. Amazon doesn’t have this version but they do have a reissue from 1993 with a horrible cover design that lists at $120!

I was reading Ellen Luptons book ‘Thinking w/Type’ and found this to be funny.
