I can’t decide if I like the Tom Petty cover of ‘Asshole’ by Beck more than the original…
The original from Becks ‘One Foot in the Grave’ album is raw, folksy and more emotive.
Petty’s version is from the ‘She’s All That’ soundtrack. So it has a bigger production and is more commercial but it’s a bit more smoothed out.
Hmmm…
Both are good but the original is better.
I’d post both but Tumblr only allows one and I’m too tired to stitch them together!
