One of the doctors here gave a lecture on expanding consciousness last night. I have to admit, every time I see one of those energy rocks I think it´s complete bullshit. I mean they have entire stores dedicated to that stuff and honestly I just don´t know how they stay in business. So when Jen busted out the pendulum and claimed that she could move it with her mind my first response was to roll my eyes and prepare myself for a couple hours of new age nonsense. Now, while it was in her hand, I saw the pendulum move but I also could have sworn I saw her body move with it, in other words, I felt like she was influencing its movement, perhaps without being aware of it though. But as it got passed around, I noticed that some students could swing the pendulum without using any noticeable physical movements.  But I was still skeptical, I mean anything is possible but since I´ve never done something like that myself I guess it´s just difficult for me to accept. So finally it was my turn, at first I just focused on not making my arm or hand move, but as I did so I noticed the pendulum swinging to the right. I was shocked. I asked the person next to me to make sure I wasn´t using my body, he confirmed. I imagined the pendulum swinging wider, and it did. I imagined the pendulum swinging to the left, and it did. I imagined the pendulum stopping, and it did. It´s a tough thing to describe, it felt like I was moving it with my mind, it was incredible. I´ve never felt that kind of power before. Afterwards my body felt like an giant ball of energy yet my mind was calm and relaxed. I wonder what would happen if I tried this before training. Later that night I felt very peaceful, slept like a baby, no dreams, woke up feeling great. I won´t roll my eyes at the energy stones anymore, in fact I might dig a little deeper into it when I get home. It was definitely some intense shit.
