Love this stop motion short from Spike Jonze. The felt-made book covers are fantastic.

Video: Spike Jonze’s Mourir Auprès de Toi
The latest short film from Spike Jonze — following last year’s Nick Zinner-assisted robot love story, I’m Here, and this year’s Arcade Fire collaboration, Scenes From the Suburbs — arrived today in the form of Mourir Auprès de Toi (To Die By Your Side),...

I love this answer from the Reddit AMA with Neil deGrasse Tyson:
What is your favorite fact about the Universe?
That is will never end. That it’s on a one way trip of expansion. Something that many find to be philosophically unsettling. My view is that if your philosophy is not unsettled daily then you are blind to all the universe has to offer.

App Idea
A location based graffiti app where you tag locations to get your name up. Pinpointed to gps coordinates so you can have unique spots within a single location.
Each user would design their tag. Then using augmented reality they would affix their tag image on something in the environment.
Everyones Tags would show up in all users augmented reality allowing for tags to be crossed out, buffed,...

True or False: Positivity
Positivity is not the assumption that everything will be great. It is the courage to face the unknown with the strength to make the best of it regardless.

Life is a lot like driving. As we drive to our destinations, we look ahead to avoid obstacles in the way. If we only look in the rear view mirror, we crash. It’s best to enjoy the song playing on the stereo at that moment while peering into the near future. Remember who is driving.
Reading’s fucking trippy. You should think about reading and be confused. Your...

Flaws
tariqrahman:
The painful truth about capitalism and communism is that both ideologies share the same fundamental flaw; they both want to tell the rest of the world what’s best for them. Same with “Islamism” and frankly every other “ism” that’s out there. When will an ideology come along that doesn’t try to fit all of the different shapes and sizes of the world into the same square hole? ...

Toggle function keys script. FN awesome.
I recently started utilizing the Function keys in Photoshop a lot more than ever. They are awesome for working on a smaller screen w/o the palettes showing. I customized my F keys to quickly access the palettes I use the most (F1 for info, F2 for character, F3 for Layers, etc).
That’s all well and good but outside of photoshop, I use the special keys (volume, dashboard, brightness) very...

We knew something was cooking between Danger Mouse and Jack White after the pair were spotted dining in LA last week, and now some answers have arrived… The Broken Bells/Gnarls Barkley member and producer du jour has teamed up with Italian composer Daniele Luppi for an album paying homage to 1960s spaghetti western soundtracks called Rome, reports The Guardian. (Not a huge...
