For the 50th Anniversary of the Beach Boys’ Pet Sounds, the Flaming Lips covered one of my favorite Beach Boys songs. This cover of God Only Knows is awesome.

March madness! But since I don’t sports much, this madness more so relates to the double feature event over at Silver Screen Society.
This month the collective is being inspired by not one but TWO flicks: the ooze-filled pair that are Ghostbusters I and II.
As a fun aside, I rather enjoy drawing lots of buildings. Good job for meeting this need, New York City.
Design, architecture and other working arts over time have become more and more practical, more useable, more cost effective, more efficient, more uninspired. But let’s not too soon discount beauty for the sake of beauty. There’s something to be said about old world structures that are superfluous, but also stunning feats of architecture and simply beautiful.
Think, brownstone versus track home.
